That Council note the report by the Property Officer, Development & Regulation to the Services & Organisation Committee Meeting dated 6 June 2023 regarding a request to increase to a lease area for the Salvation Army Community Housing Services Limited and:
A. Surrender the existing lease to The Salvation Army Community Housing Services Limited.
B. Apply the exception to the requirement for tendering under Section 236 (1) (b) (ii) of the Local Government Regulation 2012 for disposal of a non-current asset other than by tender or auction if the valuable non-current asset is disposed of to a community organisation.
C. Enter into a new lease with The Salvation Army Community Housing Services Limited for Lease Area increasing the leased area from 2552m2 to 4540m2, for a term of 20 Years.
D. Delegate the power to the Chief Executive Officer to authorise, negotiate and finalise the terms of the Lease, to be executed by Council and to do any other acts necessary to implement Council’s decision
