Amelia Lorentson29:23So next we're going to move to item 5.2, request for tenure to establish a new community garden in Y211, SPM 128963, King Park, Cooran, organic garden incorporated. Good afternoon, it's a the table. Pleasure to be here. Can I start by just asking if you can give us a summary of the organic garden? Absolutely.
So, Council received a new application for a community garden from the Cooran organic garden incorporated requesting to establish a new garden in King Street, or King Park, sorry, in King Street in Cooran. So, as part of that, community development and the property team undertook an assessment of it at quite a high level. Doing internal consultation to make sure that we hadn't missed anything when considering new tenure or a new garden in this area as a result of those assessment. A recommendation of a three-year freehold permit was proposed and that all costs associated with the establishment of the garden and the maintenance ongoing would be bore by the group. So this report now seeks to get Council to approve and apply the exception to having to tender before disposing of an interest in land. So that's what we're here today to discuss.
