First, I'd like to begin by an Acknowledgement to Country. I would like to respectfully acknowledge the Kabi Kabi people as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters that form the region we call Noosa. Council pays its respects to elders past, present and emerging and welcomes the ongoing role that Indigenous people play within the Noosa community. Attendance and Apologies. We have one apology by the Mayor. Councillor Stewart. I note that Councillor Wilkie and Councillor Joe Jurisevic is in attendance and I also note Councillor Finzel and Councillor Tom Wegener are in the gallery. Council can I just note, Councillor Wegener has just left the room and expect him to return. Okay. Can I please request before commencing the meeting that everyone have their phones silent or turn off. I go to today's Services & Organisation Committee. Confirmation of minutes. There's no deputations, there's no Reports for consideration of the Committee. There's no reports for noting by the committee. We're going straight to item seven, a confidential session. Discussing confidentiality is a very important part of the process. Discussions each related to a confidential session will be going behind closed doors, but before moving to a closed session, I would like to ask the CEO the reasons for confidentiality.
