That Council:
A. Note the report by the Transport Project Officer to the General Committee Meeting dated 7 July 2026 regarding the Go Noosa Report;
B. Delegate authority to the Chief Executive Officer to continue delivery of the Go Noosa Program and associated peak-period transport initiatives, subject to annual budget processes;
C. Note the temporary repurpose of the car park within the Main Beach Reserve (adjacent to the Noosa Heads Surf Club) as a Main Beach Drop-Off Zone during the peak Christmas and New Year period to improve safety, traffic circulation, and functionality within the precinct;
D. Endorse a trial of a temporary 15-minute drop-off area on Noosa Parade adjacent to Lions Park during Go Noosa Summer 2026;
E. Do not proceed with ongoing use of the Noosa Heads Lions Park for overflow parking for reasons outlined in the report; and
F. Note that staff will investigate alternative charitable arrangements associated with the Go Noosa program procured in accordance with Councils policies.
