SERVICES & ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 12 DECEMBER 2017
Finance
Adoption of the Draft Foreshore Plan does not raise immediate finance implications, however, the
report notes a range of infrastructure and financial implications that may be enlivened by the
adoption of the final Plan. It is proposed these issues will be formally addressed via Council
resolution in conjunction with consideration of the final Foreshore Plan in 2018.
Risks & Opportunities
The Foreshore Plan project aims to address risks and community expectations associated with
Council’s management of the foreshore. There has been some negative feedback that Council’s
project has taken too long but adoption of the Draft Plan will allow community engagement to
continue.
