SERVICES & ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 8 JUNE 2021
It is difficult to measure an exact Easter comparison because the 2020 services were cancelled due
to the COVID lockdown and in 2019 the 065 Go Noosa Loop bus did not operate. However, a
comparison of Easter 2019 and Easter 2021 shows a 37% reduction in patronage.

Feedback:
The Christmas & Easter Go Noosa customer feedback survey was available on Council's website and
Facebook page. The survey was available throughout the duration of the services and closed two
weeks after the services ended. Hard copy versions of the survey were distributed by the bus driver
passenger assistant at Hastings Street and there was a QR code link to the survey on board the 065
Go Noosa Loop Bus. A total of 237 surveys were received (Xmas - 128 & Easter - 109).
Key survey highlights include:
e 98% of survey respondents were either very satisfied/satisfied with their bus trip.
e Approximately 56% of respondents would have made their trip by car if the buses had not been
free.
° The main reason people caught a free bus was to avoid traffic and congestion with difficulty
finding a car park and convenience an equal second.
