Value for money:
The use of Park & Ride sites is a necessary component for encouraging drivers to not enter the
Hastings Street area and instead use public transport. A number of sites are promoted to provide
adequate opportunity to Park & Ride.
Areas for improvement:
e Obtain feedback on preferred Park & Ride locations through Go Noosa survey
e Increase awareness of Park & Ride locations
° Review contract for use of the Noosa AFL ground car park
e Foster and encourage “Hide and Ride”
3. Drop & Go
Two minute Drop & Go car parks were installed in car parks near the Hastings Street bus
interchange, Noosa Drive and Noosa Parade. The purpose of the 2 minute Drop & Go was to allow
people to drop off bulky items and passengers close to the beach.
