As can be seen in Table 6.2 the tennis noise levels at the sensitive receivers are predicted to comply with the
daytime limit (39 dBA) for all 3 receivers. The noise limit for the evening limit is exceeded by 2 dBA at R1 and
R3, and exceeded by 4 dBA at R2. Reducing tennis court use to two courts and one court respectively are
provided below:

As seen above, noise levels at R1 and R3 are compliant with the evening noise limit of 34 dBA. Noise levels at
R2 are 35 dBA when two courts are in use. Since the noise level is within 1 dBA of the noise limit it is considered
marginally compliant. Limiting court use to 1 court does not achieve compliance with night time criteria (28
dBA). Based on the results provided in Table 6.2 and Table 6.3, the following is recommended:
◼     Maintain operations as proposed (4 tennis courts) during daytime (7am to 6pm).
◼     Limits operations to two courts during the evening (6pm to 9pm).
◼     Do not allow tennis court use during nighttime (9pm to 7am).
It is also noted that the resort operators will need to manage tennis noise onto the subject development itself,
as is normal resort practice, and this impact will be greater than any offsite noise impacts.
