4     NOISE MEASUREMENTS

4.1    MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT

Unattended noise monitoring was conducted using a NGARA noise monitor and a Rion Sound Level Meter
NL-42. Both loggers were programmed to store 15-minute statistical noise levels throughout the monitoring
period.

Attended noise measurements were conducted using a Norsonics NOR140 Precision Sound Level Analyser
set to A-weighted fast response. The equipment was calibrated at the beginning and end of the
measurement period, no significant drift was recorded.

4.2    MEASUREMENT LOCATION

Monitor locations were selected upon accessibility and accuracy in considering ambient conditions whilst
capturing dominant noise sources around site.
