The NGARA monitor was placed at the boundary of site and ‘western loading dock’ to capture operational
noise from loading docks 1 to 3 for supermarkets such as Woolworths and Big W. Whilst the Rion NL42 was
set-up at the boundary of ‘eastern loading dock’ denoted as loading docks 4 to 6 (Figure 1).

Short-term attended measurements were carried out at various locations within the loading docks to capture
transient (reverse signals, truck movements, trolley’s) and stationary/continuous noise sources (mechanical
plant).

4.3     MEASUREMENT PERIOD

Unattended monitoring was conducted from the 20th of November to the 27th of November 2019 (incl.) with
both monitors operating simultaneously. Periods of extraneous weather that occurred during the
measurement period have been removed from the data.

Attended measurements were conducted on the 20th and 27th of November 2019 upon set-up of the loggers.

Data was neglected for periods of extraneous weather that have occurred during measurement period.
