3.0      ASSESSMENT OF RESULTS
3.1      REMNANT VEGETATION AND VEGETATION COMMUNITIES
         Reference to the State’s regional ecosystem mapping indicates that the property is mapped as
         supporting a band of Category X (non-remnant) vegetation in the central portion of the property
         which has previously been subject to vegetation clearing. Areas immediately adjacent are
         predominantly mapped as Category B (remnant) vegetation comprising regional ecosystem (RE)
         12.11.2 regulated under the Vegetation Management Act 1999 (VM Act) and ascribed a ‘least
         concern’ conservation status (refer to green polygon in Figure 7). This RE is described as
         Eucalyptus saligna or E. grandis, E. microcorys, Lophostemon confertus tall open forest on
         metamorphics +/- interbedded volcanics.
