         •     Avoiding larger trees and conservation significant plants present on the property
         •     Utilising the stockpiled soil present in the property instead of importing foreign material for
               site rehabilitation to reduce the risk of introducing pest species
         •     Utilising existing access tracks that are located on low grades for vehicular access and the
               proposed driveway to avoid the need for further vegetation clearing.

         In addition, it is recommended that the proposed works be undertaken in accordance with the
         management measures outlined in Section 6.2 of this report to further mitigate potential
         environmental impacts during the construction phase of works.

         This matter has been considered against the Biodiversity, waterways and wetlands overlay code
         (refer to Appendix B for code response). The clearing required to facilitate the development is
         minor in comparison to the overall area of vegetation available on the property and meets the
         overall intent of the Code.
