2.4 New Guideline 51 Acoustic Report (ref: #1721d1-C)
Live It Acoustics prepared a new acoustic report in accordance with OLGR Guideline 51 –
Preparing an acoustic report, following alterations made to the licensed premises in 2024. The
report reference is: #1721d1-C, dated: 12 November 2024. This latest report provides:
• Noise testing results at the premises which consider the alterations made to the building
envelope;
• Noise testing results which consider noise generated from the outdoor lawn area, adjacent
to the venue’s ocean and seaside decks; and
• Recommendations for venue management to achieve compliance with the requirements
of the Liquor Regulation 2002 and Liquor Act 1992.
OLGR accepted the recommendations by Live It Acoustics and endorsed new conditions on the
current liquor licence (LL: 86806). A copy of the current liquor licence is provided in Appendix A.
The existing conditions, adopted from the previous acoustic report, are therefore outdated and
are not representative of the current acoustic situation at the premises. Consequently, the existing
conditions should be updated to reflect the current noise conditions endorsed by OLGR.
Section 3 below provides details of the assessment methodology undertaken by Live It Acoustics
and reproduces key components of the acoustic report prepared. The full copy of the acoustic
report is appended in Appendix C.
