App A - Acoustic Report - Minor Change - 12.08.2025
Sunshine Beach Surf Life Saving Club #1966d1-B Acoustic Report (Minor Change Application) 12 August 2025 The previous assessment investigated potential noise impacts generated by the licensed premises in relation to ‘unreasonable noise’ as defined in the Liquor Act 1992 and Liquor Regulation 2002. The previous report provided recommendations which allowed OLGR to condition the licensed premises objectively to avoid “unreasonable noise”. 1.1 Limitations This report has been prepared exclusively for the use of Sunshine Beach SLSC and the relevant assessment authorities. While reasonable care has been taken to verify all data and sources, Live It Acoustics does not warrant the accuracy of information supplied by third parties unless otherwise stated. No liability is accepted for interpretations or conclusions drawn by others without full access to the complete document. The report must be read in its entirety and must not be reproduced or relied upon in part, or for any other purpose, without the written consent of Live It Acoustics. The scope of the previous assessment was limited to noise emissions associated with the operation of the licensed premises. Operational noise from other areas of the surf club, such as the lower ground club areas, were not relevant to the previous engagement. It should also be noted that this report does not present results of any new noise assessments conducted specifically for the Minor Change Application and instead draws from existing assessments completed for the subject site.
