          Ensure all guests and staff have taken refuge in the shelter in place location by
           conducting a second ‘roll call’ from the Guest Register.
          Ensure communications are maintained between staff in the shelter in place location,
           the Chief Fire Warden and QFES and/or QPS.
Site occupants are to remain in the shelter in place location until advised that it is safe to leave
by the Chief Fire Warden, QFES and/or QPS.
The available evacuation routes from the Emergency Evacuation Point and the ‘shelter in
place’ machinery shed location are identified in Plate 3.

      8.3 Evacuation beyond the site
Two (2) different evacuation routes are available beyond the site with both flanked by
expansive areas of hazardous bushland. The risk of entrapment external of the site is real and
strategic selection of the most suitable evacuation route will be a critical decision.
In the instance where QFES and/or QPS confirms that the site is to be fully evacuated it is
expected directives would be given for site occupants to travel along Louis Bazz Dr either west
towards Pomona or east towards Tewantin, as these are the only possible evacuation routes.
The available evacuation routes to Pomona and Tewantin are identified in Plate 4 and
comprise:
     Head West along Louis Bazzo Dr then South along Pound Rd then South along Factory St
      towards the township of Pomona; or
     Head East along Louis Bazzo Dr then South along McKinnon Dr towards the township of
      Tewantin.
A transit time of approximately 12 minutes should be allowed to access the township of
Pomona noting the approx. first 4kms is bordered by hazardous bushland either side. 22
minutes should be allowed to access the township of Tewantin with a large portion of this route
bordered by hazardous bushland on at least one side.
