* Note: Details of site area to be used for onsite separation, treatment and storage (including weather

protection) shall be provided on the plan drawings accompanying your application.
The applicant shall implement the requirements of the WMP.

109. The applicant shall submit a WMP for the operational stages of the development prior to the issue of a
development approval for operational works. The WMP shail be to the reasonable satisfaction of the
Manager — Environmental Health, and shall contain information generally in accordance with the
following:

109.1. The estimated waste volumes, area for tefuse/recycle storage and service access.

109.2. The types of waste that will be generated from the activities approved within the
development.

109.3. Anticipated volumes or tonnage of waste generated from the activities.
109.4. Identification of the recyclables within the generated waste stream.
109.5. _Initiatives to minimize waste either by waste prevention, reduction, re-use or recycling.

109.6. Operational procedures for the storage and collection of waste from the development
complex including the collection of recyclables.

109.7. Design detail of waste storage and recycling areas including methods of prevention of storm
water contamination.

109.8. Details of types of waste storage containers to be utilized.
109.9. Detail of access to waste collection area for waste collection vehicles.

The applicant shail implement the requirements of the WMP.
Environmental & Health Issues

 

110. Approval for the Underground Petroleum Storage System must be obtained under the Dangerous
Goods Safety Management Act 2001 and the Environmental Protection Act 1994. The application for
such approval shall be lodged with Council’s Environmental Heaith Section and shall include an
assessment by a competent person of the site’s class pursuant to the “Operators Compliance Guide
for Petroleum Product Storage”.
