Report on Updated Bushfire Management Plan for Stockwell Development Group Pty Ltd
Undeveloped Area of Noosa Civic
5.4 Vegetation Management
5.4.1 Internal
The fuel loads of the environmental covenants should be monitored and managed to <8
tonne/ha. This can be achieved by mechanical means or where attached to larger
adjoining park it may be achieved by hazard reduction burning.
5.4.2 External
The patch of vegetation north of Area 2 in the National Park should be considered
for a cooperative hazard reduction burn with National Parks. This would only be
needed on a once in 10 year cycle.
The entire Park area south to Eenie Creek should also have management that
would include hazard reduction burning.
