A landslip Hazard Frequency analysis has been carried out for the site and the proposed
works, refer Appendix F, and we conclude there is a low risk of site instability with the
house located in its proposed location. The low risk of instability as defined in the
guidelines in the attached appendix does not exclude slope stability problems, only that
in Lindsay Consulting Pty Ltd’s opinion that the risk is low and may be management
through good hillside practises.
In our professional opinion, the present site conditions along with the proposed
earthworks detailed on the drawings specified previously do not pose a slope stability
issue with the site including associated buildings and infrastructure and that the stability
of the site will be maintained during both the construction and operational life of the
development. As such the works proposed, when carried out in a capable manner will
not lead to a slope stability problem.
