At ground level a battered landscape strip provides a transition between the lower street footpath and entry to the ground level tenancies. At the east boundary the footpath feathers from the street footpath and adjoining crossover to provide wheelchair access to the ground level. A short run of steps are introduced at the western end of the frontage, required to connect the ground level with the lowered street footpath. Other than structural columns, the view in to the ground floor is open and inviting with clear sight lines. The landscape transition provides an opportunity for low planting to enhance street frontage activation and articulation. Engineering 4.
