3.2    Erosion & Sediment Control


The proposed works will result in an increased risk of sediment release to the adjacent waterways.
To mitigate this risk, erosion and sediment control measures will be included as part of
development works.


Refer to the attached preliminary engineering drawings which show the extent of disturbed areas.
Detailed erosion and sediment control drawings will be prepared in conjunction with future
development applications.



4.0    ACCESS & INTERNAL ROADWORKS


Refer to the attached Engineering Drawings for details of the proposed site access and internal
roadworks.


Operational works design and construction for the internal and external roads have been
completed in accordance with previous development approvals for the site. The existing external
access infrastructure is generally adequate to service the site. An existing internal service road will
require minor upgrading in order to support the proposed service vehicles (MRV/WCV).


Adequate car parking will be provided onsite. New access driveways will be provided with
connections to Resort Drive to the east of the site. The existing service road will maintain an access
point from the south-east. Suitable turn-arounds will be provided in order to allow larger service
vehicles, including Council’s Waste Collection Vehicle, to enter and exit the site in a forward gear.


Car parking facilities, access driveways and vehicle cross-overs will be in accordance with relevant
sections of the Australian Standards AS2890 for Off-Street car parking, IPWEA standard drawings
and Queensland Streets.
