General Precautions

        Warning signs and barriers to be erected
        Asbestos removalists to be the only personnel in contaminated areas
        Personnel in contaminated areas to wear adequate protection for the risk factor
        Hand tools and NOT power tools to be used
        Wet materials where possible
        Polythene barrier curtains to separate contaminated from uncontaminated areas
        When impervious overalls are to be used then the following are to be closely monitored

Heat Exhaustion – Heat Cramps – Heat Stroke SYMPTOMS
        Fatigue
        Headache
        Dizziness
        Shifts of vision
        Nausea
        Vomiting
        Loss of appetite
        Shortness of breath
        Fast heart rate
        Flushing of face or neck
        Glazed eyes
        Fainting
