volumes and can easily be accommodated on Hoy Road. This has been confirmed by Council through
correspondence that confirms the use of the EDD subject to the detailed design phase.
Parking Provision
In accordance with Table 9.4.1.4 of the Driveways and Parking Code, the proposed development is
required to accommodate two covered car parking spaces.
It is noted that the proposed development plans do not provide a detailed driveway and parking design
for each lot. Therefore, it is anticipated that residential car parking can be accommodated on-site in the
detailed design phase.
Servicing Arrangements
4.6.1 Design Vehicle
As the proposed development is classified a rural residential use, the minimum design vehicle
anticipated to service the site is a Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV).
Therefore, Modus has conducted a swept path assessment for the largest design vehicle anticipated on
site (RCV). The swept path assessment determined that an RCV is able to safely access and manoeuvre
throughout the proposed internal road network. The RCV swept path assessment has been provided at
Appendix B.
