 Staking - Drive stakes into the ground, to approximately one third of their length, avoiding damage to roots.

 Tree and Palm Root Anchor & Foam Block: All Trees and Palms – On Structure
 Root Anchor product – Platipus tree anchoring systems – Specialist fixing system C/W Plati-Mat –
 RF2SPECIALP. Confirm right size for each rootball on site as per manufacturers documentation. Galvanised
 wire chokes, two-way ratchets tensioner with galvanises wire, 3x roper grips per leg, Plati-Mat rootball
 protection. Welded steel mesh (min 12mm 0.5” diameter) 100mm larger than the rootball to all sides.
 Installation – Place welded steel mesh on top of drainage cell over the geo fabric. Add rope grips. Add Sand
 filter layer. Fill soil as per manufacturers details. Re-tension after planting.

 Foam – Trees requiring to be elevated in order for the top of the root ball to sit flush with the surrounding
 finishes soil levels are to sit on foam block out. Trees are not to be elevated using soil or sand.
