                                                                                                         Town Planning Report
28 Eenie Creek Road, Noosaville and parts of the road reserves of Hofmann Drive and Walter Hay Drive

All Alternative Solutions provided demonstrate that the proposed development achieves compliance with the
corresponding Specific Outcome of the code.
The proposal therefore achieves compliance with all Specific Outcomes and the Driveways and Carparking
Code as a whole.

6.7.9 Earthworks Code
The proposed development achieves compliance, or can achieve compliance, with all applicable Probable
Solutions of the Earthworks Code. Alternative Solutions are only proposed where an applicable Probable
Solution is not provided. The proposal therefore achieves compliance with all Specific Outcomes and the
Earthworks Code as a whole.

6.7.10 Erosion and Sediment Control Code
The proposed development achieves compliance, or can achieve compliance, with all applicable Probable
Solutions of the Erosion and Sediment Control Code. The proposal therefore achieves compliance with all
Specific Outcomes and the Erosion and Sediment Control Code as a whole.

6.7.11 Existing Services Code
The proposed development achieves compliance with all applicable Probable Solutions of the Existing
Services Code. The proposal therefore achieves compliance with all Specific Outcomes and the Existing
Services Code as a whole.

6.7.12 Landscaping Code
The proposed development achieves compliance, or can achieve compliance, with all applicable Probable
Solutions of the Landscaping Code. Alternative Solutions are only proposed where an applicable Probable
Solution is not provided. The proposal therefore achieves compliance with all Specific Outcomes and the
Landscaping Code as a whole.

6.7.13 Transport, Roads and Drainage Code
The proposed development achieves compliance, or can achieve compliance, with all applicable Probable
Solutions of the Transport, Roads and Drainage Code. In instances where a Probable Solution is not provided,
an Alternative Solution is proposed which demonstrates the proposal’s compliance with the corresponding
Specific Outcome of the code. This is with the exception of Specific Outcome O7, where the proposed
development does not achieve compliance. Specific Outcome O7 requires the design of roads and
intersections to maintain the safe and efficient functioning of the road network without the use of traffic signals.
The Transport, Roads and Drainage Code states that development complies with the code if it is consistent
with the Specific Outcomes of the code. As the proposed development does not achieve compliance with all
Specific Outcomes, compliance is not achieved with the code. Further explanation is provided in Section 7
while sufficient grounds which justify the approval of the development application despite the conflict are
discussed in Section 8 of this report.

6.7.14 Waste Management Code
The proposed development achieves compliance, or can achieve compliance, with most of the applicable
Probable Solutions of the Waste Management Code.
In some instances Alternative Solutions to the provided Probable Solutions are proposed. Alternative Solutions
are proposed in relation to Probable Solutions S3.1-3.4, S5.1 and S5.2.
In all other instances Alternative Solutions are only proposed where an applicable Probable Solution is not
provided.
All Alternative Solutions provided demonstrate that the proposed development achieves compliance with the
corresponding Specific Outcome of the code.
The proposal therefore achieves compliance with all Specific Outcomes and the Waste Management Code as
a whole.
