Lining: The surrounding soils are clay to silty clays with a saturated hydraulic conductivity of approximately 3.6mm/hr. The sandy loam media that is proposed as the filter media has a hydraulic conductivity of 200mm/hr, therefore the conductivity of the filter media is > 10 times the conductivity of the surrounding soils and an impervious liner is not considered to be required. 55 Lake MacDonald Drive – Stage 1 to 5 pg. 17
