Finance
It is anticipated that the training and awareness program will be partly conducted by Council’s
Governance Branch and any future associated external training programs may also be
sourced from Council’s corporate training budget.
Risks & Opportunities
This Policy is an opportunity to further strengthen Council’s enterprise risk and opportunity
management framework and provide Council staff and the broader community with up to
date information that assists in the effective management of risks and opportunities across
Council and our broader community.
Human Rights Compatibility Statement
In developing this policy, the subject matter has been considered in accordance with the
requirements of the Queensland Human Rights Act 2019. It is considered that the subject
matter does not conflict with any human rights and supports a human rights approach to
decision making by Council.
This policy should be read in conjunction with the Human Rights Act 2019 (QLD) and
Council’s Human Rights Policy.
