The results predict that the Myall Street / Garnet Street / Maple Street roundabout will operate at an
‘excellent’ level of service during the 2017 pre-development scenario, with ‘very good’ operations in the
2017 post development scenario. In the 2027 scenario, the existing intersection layout is expected to
experience ‘very good’ operations in the pre-development scenario and ‘good’ operations in the post
development scenario. The results indicate that all of the Saturday pre-development and post

development scenarios will experience ‘excellent’ traffic operations.

The results show that additional traffic associated with the proposed development is not expected to
significantly increase the critical degree of saturation. All of the scenarios assessed are within the DIMR

acceptable limits for roundabouts.
