7 CONCLUSION
The proposed Reconfiguration of a Lot and Mixed Use Development at 215 David Low Way,
Peregian Beach has been assessed for its impact on the quantity and quality of stormwater
drainage.
If the proposed development maintains pre development drainage patterns, the lawful point of
discharge is the nature reserve located west of the subject site.
On-site detention (OSD) is warranted for the proposed development, as outlined in the
Stormwater Management Plan report prepared by SLR Consulting dated March 2018 (Ref No.
620.12292-R01). Therefore, the development has incorporated the recommendations of this
report into the design to ensure pre development flow conditions are maintained post
construction.
Sediment generated during the construction phase shall be dealt with in accordance with an
Erosion and Sediment Control Plan to be kept on site during the construction phase.
The proposed development triggers the State Planning Policy 2017 (SPP 2017). Rainwater reuse
tanks and a bio-retention basin will be incorporated into the proposed development to meet the
prescribed water quality objectives prior to discharging to the lawful point of discharge.
