4 EXISTING DRAINAGE PATTERNS
4.1 Existing Infrastructure
Data obtained from the detailed site survey and Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) plans indicate the
following existing drainage infrastructure:
1. A 375mm diameter stormwater main traversing the carriageways of David Low Way and
Sandpiper Court, with a headwall outlet into the nature reserve, south of the subject site;
2. An easement abutting the northern and western boundary of the existing shopping centre
complex within the site, containing a stormwater main ranging from 300mm to 450mm in
diameter, with a headwall outlet into the nature reserve, south of the subject site;
3. A series of stormwater pipes and gully pits directing runoff from the shopping centre
complex to a detention tank and a bio-retention basin prior to discharge to the nature
reserve, south of the subject site;
Refer to Figure 4.1 for the existing stormwater infrastructure and drainage patterns.
