       surrounding area. Overall, it has been identified that there is a demonstrated need for all components of
       the development and it is consistent with the outcomes of both the previous court approval and the
       community’s expectations of future land uses on the site.

79.    The proposed development also presents an opportunity to strengthen the local economy through the
       provision of additional permanent and visitor accommodation in close proximity to the Peregian Beach
       local centre.

80.    Lastly, the proposed development complies with the land use outcomes sought by the Strategic
       Framework, Desired Environmental Outcomes, as well as the Overall Outcomes of the Eastern Beaches
       Locality Code.
