The Noosa sub-region which has been defined geographically as the Noosa local government area
(LGA) comprises approximately one-third of the short-term accommodation rooms within the
SCTR. Notably, key accommodation facilities within Noosa have a ‘resort’ orientation such as
Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort, RACV Noosa Resort and Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas.

3.3         PEREGIAN BEACH

3.3.1 EXISTING SUPPLY

Currently, there are only a limited number of short-term accommodation establishments
available in the Peregian Beach area, as detailed in TABLE 3.2. Most of these facilities are located
at the northern end of Peregian Beach, approximately 2km from the Peregian Beach Village
precinct. All the facilities have at least a 3.5-star rating and moderate rates, although only Sails
Lifestyle Resort allows for stays of less than 2 nights.
