This site has formally been used for extractive industry and currently supports cleared areas,

2.1 On-Site Vegetation
The vegetation with the highest habitat value is proposed to be retained within the vegetation
covenant areas located across multiple lots within the site. The vegetation to be retained was
observed to exhibit an average canopy height of approximately 20-30m with an average projective
foliage canopy cover of 50%. The canopy was dominated by a range of myrtaceous species
including Eucalyptus grandis (flooded gum), Eucalyptus microcorys (tallow wood), Lophostemon
confertus (brush box) and Corymbia intermedia (pink bloodwood). The midstorey was characterised
by juvenile canopy species whilst the understorey was dominated by a dense to mid dense
assemblage of native open forest to vine forest shrubs and vines. The ground cover was dense to
mid-dense and dominated by a range of native species including ferns, grasses and herbs. Plate 2
depicts typical conditions within the high value vegetation to be retained.
