        4.   Request the CEO to provide his report to Council within 3 months.

        The Chairperson ruled that the amendment was in order and not contrary to section 22
        (1) of the Standing Orders.

        Cr Jackson called for a division on the voting. The amendment was carried 5/2.

        Council Resolution
        Moved:           Cr Jackson
        Seconded:        Cr Pardon
        That Council:
        1.   Agree to consider options to digitally video and/or voice record, live web stream,
             and/or archive online all formal Committee and Council meetings (including
             meetings of the Planning and Environment Committee, Services and
             Organisation Committee, General Committee, Ordinary Meetings and Special
             Meetings of Council) and make the live streaming and recordings available to the
             public;
        2.   Request the CEO to investigate and recommend the most cost-effective
             methodologies for recording, live web streaming, and/or archiving of all formal
             Committee and Council meetings; and to report to Council on this issue including
             mechanisms to address Council meetings held offsite twice per year;
        3.   Note that recordings of meetings or portions of meetings closed to the public
             pursuant to Section 275 of the Local Government Regulation 2012 will not be
             made available to the public; and
        4.   Request the CEO to provide his report to Council within 3 months.

        Cr Jackson called for a division on the voting. The motion was carried 6/1.
