GENERAL COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 17 OCTOBER 2016

               (d) The rainwater downpipe to the north of the landing to the east of the sitting area, has a
breakage at the bottom of the downpipe. The rainwater downpipes should be checked
individually in order to ascertain their current condition and where there are breakages or
blockages they should be either repaired or replaced.

               (e) The rainwater downpipe to the eastern end of the southern external wall of the original hall,
in the area where the external cladding steps up to the southern side of the kitchen is
                       broken and will require reinstating.
               (f) The top of the various vent pipes to the sewer/ drains to the building, are in need of
reassessing and the appropriate stays to be fitted especially, but not limited to the fibrolite
                       vent pipes.
The top of the vent pipes, are in need of the appropriate cowl to be fitted.
               (g) The southern end of the bargeboard to the northern gable to the western side of the hall is
exhibiting the effects of fungal decay to the top of the bargeboard, in the area where the
planted trim used to be located.
This will require addressing at the time the planted trim is refitted and the gable roll is
                       reinstated.

               (h) The painted finish to the western fascia is in need of reinstating especially but not limited to
the area of fascia above the third set of windows in from the northern end of the western
                       side of the building.
The cause appears to have been accelerated by the leak in the join to the rainwater gutter
over this area. This will be addressed at the time the rainwater gutter is replaced or
                       repaired.

               3.005 INTERIOR OF THE BUILDING.

              (i) ENTRY/FOYER.
               (a) The glazing to the door between the entry/foyer and the main hall area, should be
reassessed with a view to installing an appropriate glass in these doors, especially given the
amount of people that may pass through this doorway.
(ii). MEMORABILIA ROOM, PROJECTOR ROOM / LOFT AREA & TICKET ROOM:
               (a) The inside of the Memorabilia Room, Projector Room and Storage Loft area were only
partially accessible due to the goods stored in these areas at the time of inspection.
To ascertain the exact condition of these areas, will require reinspection to be carried out
after the goods have been removed from these areas.

               (b) The ceiling sheeting to the projector room has what appears to be Caneite or similar, that
has been applied over asbestos cement sheeting.
It is brought to your attention that there are holes and other damage to the asbestos
cement sheeting to the ceiling and as such, this asbestos cement sheeting, should be
                       removed or otherwise made safe.

                                                                                                            11
