3.   Reserve for Quarry Purposes – Lot 49 SP215032 (approx. 38 ha)

A previous Noosa Council resolution 1 November 2007 supported the creation of 3 separate
parcels as per the layout below (Fig. 4) with the tenure of the lots as follows:
A.   The portion of land on the northern side of the Quarry Track to be transferred to
     National Park tenure.
B.   The area on the southern side of the road to be transferred to Conservation Park
     under joint trusteeship of Council and the then Environmental Protection Agency
     (under current arrangements would be a Nature Refuge).
C.   The pan-handle shaped lot to remain as Quarry Reserve to facilitate possible future
     needs for storage of road maintenance materials.
