2.5      Existing Public Transport Facilities
Noosa Civic is an interchange for bus services within Noosaville. Four bus routes access the existing Noosa
Civic via the Inner Ring Road. Two bus stops, located approximately 500m north-west of the site, are also in
proximity to Noosa Civic providing access to four additional services. These bus stops are connected to
Noosa Civic by pedestrian footpaths. Passenger shelters are provided at the bus stop along Eumundi-
Noosa Road. The locations of these bus stops are indicated on Figure 2-5.

Table 2-3 outlines the major stops along each bus route that travels via Noosa Civic and the frequency of
services during the Saturday morning and Thursday evening peak periods. The frequency of bus routes
servicing Noosa Civic is approximately one service every half an hour. In summary, the existing level of bus
services to and from Noosa Civic is considered to be sufficient to serve the existing development.
