7.3          Mechanical Plant Noise
It is recommended that compliance is achieved with Acceptable Outcome AO22.4 for mechanical plant
(Tourist Accommodation Zone Code) with minimum boundary setbacks (2m) and screened by ground level
fencing (min. 1.5m high) and screened for above ground level plant.

Screening is recommended to be solid (no holes, gaps) with a height of at least the highest plant.

A mechanical plant noise assessment should be conducted once plant selections are finalised to assess
compliance.
