3.   Tender Process

Due to the value of the works being greater than $200,000, the works have been tendered in
accordance with the Local Government Act 2009. The Invitation to Tender for 1920T048 was
released via VendorPanel on 14 October 2019. The tender was advertised in the Noosa News (15
October 2019) and the Sunshine Coast Daily (19 October 2019) publications, and closed on 12
November 2019. Four (4) conforming and two (2) non-conforming tender submissions were
received from contractors.

The four conforming responses received, are listed below in alphabetical order:
     Exceed Concrete Pty Ltd
     GCE Contractors Pty Ltd
     Hall Contracting Pty Ltd
     Koppens Developments Pty Ltd

4.   Tender Assessment

A tender assessment meeting was held on 14 November 2019 by a panel of five members and
overseen by an internal Procurement and Contracts Advisor. This panel evaluated the conforming
tender submissions based on set evaluation criteria.

The tender assessment processes has identified Hall Contracting Pty Ltd as the preferred
contractor.
