2.4.2. Traffic and Transportation
A Traffic impact assessment prepared by Cambray Consulting accompanies the development application in
Appendix H which provides an assessment of the access arrangement, servicing arrangements, refuse
management, car parking, internal layout and traffic generation impacts. The report makes the following
conclusions:
• The proposal satisfies the car parking requirements stipulated in the minimum requirements of The
Noosa Plan, Division 13 – Driveways and Carparking Code Table 14-51 and is expected to be adequate
to support the development. The Noosa Plan requires 368 car parking bays to be provided and the
proposal is required to provide a total of 356 car parking spaces to accord with the Noosa Plan. We note
that the proposal results a shortfall of 12 (3%) of carparking spaces compared with the minimum
requirements;
• The proposal requires 67 bicycle spaces to be provided in the proposal. It is understood that the end of
the trips facilities will be located at ground level within Tenancy T22 and will include 22 bicycle parking
spaces. The proposed bicycle parking and end of the trip facilities are expected to comply with the
bicycle parking provisions;
• Cambray have undertaken a review and it has been concluded that the proposed numbers can cater the
potential weekday and weekend peak parking demands. Please refer to the Traffic Impact Assessment
prepared by Cambray in Appendix H for more details;
