Planning Report
• The showrooms are situated along the northern, eastern and western boundaries of the site and the car
park is located in the centre of the site which is directly accessible via the roundabout on Hofmann Drive
on the southern boundary. There is a total of 3 entries to the site, including the southern and western
access entries via Hofmann Drive and eastern entry via the internal road of Eenie Creek Road; and
• All proposed access arrangements are consistent with the previous approved development and are
highlighted in Figure 9. The first access from the western side of the Hofmann Drive roundabout will
match the existing alignment of the road. The second access will be constructed from Hofmann Drive to
a new driveway which will be constructed generally in accordance with The Noosa Plan, Division 13 –
Driveways and Carparking Code (Driveways and Carparking Code) and the relevant Australian
Standards. The third and last access is proposed to be a truck and service vehicle access only. The
vehicles will enter the service area from the end of Eenie Creek Road Service Road cul-de-sac.

• The proposed development is estimated to generate in the order of 370 trips (100 fewer trips than the
previous approval in the Saturday and Thursday peak periods respectively; and
• The Traffic Report concludes that the proposed development is not anticipated to have significant traffic
impacts on the external road network, while the internal design satisfies relevant design standards. As
such, the development is considered to be satisfactory from a traffic engineering perspective.
