Planning Report 60500
Attached to the e-mail Lot Reconfiguration - Eagle Drive and Tait Street Tewantin REC17/0011.
It is noted that as the applicant will purchase Lot 31 on RP149497 to dedicate as
Drainage Reserve, that Council will be requested to provide a fair and reasonable
offset for the application’s contribution charges.
4.1.6 Waste Management
Given that the proposed development seeks to establish only nineteen (19)
additional Detached Housing lots, the current method of kerbside garbage pickup will
be adequate to service the future dwellings. Adequate room will be allocated along
the verge of the extension to Eagle Drive to facilitate the placement of waste bins
and Proposed Lot 6 will continue to be serviced by the same means. Proposed Rear
Lots 20 and 21 will only have an approximate 38m to wheel their bins to the kerbside
along the shared access handle and Proposed Rear Lot 7 will only require the bins to
be taken 24m to be serviced. On-street waste collection is also the method servicing
surrounding properties and ensures that waste vehicles do not need to enter the site
and conduct un-safe turning manoeuvres.
