2   NOOSA BIOSPHERE RESERVE - APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS AND AMENDMENT
    TO CONSTITUTION
    Council Resolution

    Moved:           Cr Abbot
    Seconded:        Cr Wilkie
    That Council note the report by the Executive Manager to the Ordinary Meeting dated 18
    December 2014 and:
    A.   Agree to the appointment of the following persons to the roles of First Director Noosa
         Biosphere Reserve Foundation Ltd for the terms specified:
         1.     Mayor Noel Playford as the Director appointed by Council in its capacity as the
                founding member;
         2.     Scott Williams and Raul Weychardt for a term of three years ending at the
                conclusion of the third AGM;
         3.     Timothy Smith, Rowland Hill and Peter Hunnam for a term of two years ending
                at the conclusion of the second AGM; and
         4.     Judith Castledine and Oleg Morozow for a one year term ending at the
                conclusion of the first AGM: and
    B.   Authorise the Chief Executive Officer to progress an amendment to the Constitution
         of Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation Ltd. to give effect to the Council appointed
         Director always being an elected Councillor appointed by Council at Council’s
         discretion and the other proposed changes identified in the report.

7   PETITIONS

    1    PETITION: REQUEST TO COUNCIL TO APPROVE THE PLACEMENT OF SPEED
         LIMIT SIGNS ON BLANCKENSEE ROAD, COOROY

         Council Resolution

         Moved:            Cr Bolton
         Seconded:         Cr Jurisevic

         That the petition tabled by Cr Bolton requesting Council to approve the placement of
         speed limit signs on Blanckensee Road, Cooroy be received and referred to the Chief
         Executive Officer to determine appropriate action.
                                                                                     Carried.
