2.4.2    Topography
Area 4 comprises a narrow (20-30m width), shallow gully which directs catchment waters to the east
towards the golf course.
It reaches a topographic high of approximately 10m AHD in the west and declines towards the east
to a topographic low of approximately 5m AHD. Area 4 exhibits a dominant easterly aspect with
gentle slopes between 0-5 degrees. The landform is considered across slope relative to adjacent
housing stock.

2.4.3    Vegetation Hazard Classes
Area 4 is dominated by Vegetation Hazard Class 8.1 Wet eucalypt tall open forest to 20-30m width.
Dominant canopy species include Eucalyptus tereticornis (forest red gum) to approximately 24m
height over Melaleuca quinquenervia (broad-leaved paper bark) to approximately 16m height. The
canopy tree height has not necessarily attained 30m, which is the structural threshold for tall open
forest, however, can be expected to in the future hence a conservative approach has been adopted
