Town Planning Report
Material Change of Use to establish Industrial Business Type 2 (Production, alteration,
repackaging & repairing)
178 Eumundi Noosa Road, Noosaville
Specific Outcome Response
with mature vegetation. As such the visible built
form the Eumundi Noosa Road is minimal and
largely softened with this existing vegetation.
The proposed setbacks to the western and north-
eastern boundaries are a reflection of the unusual
characteristics and shape of the subject land, whilst
providing opportunities for the softening of the built
form through the provision of landscaping.
The proposed setbacks are reflected on the
Proposal Plans prepared by Michael Carr Architect
at Appendix F of this report.
It is contended that the proposed setbacks
adequately provide for the amenity of users of the
premises as well as preserve the visual amenity of
adjoining and nearby land uses and roads. As such,
the natural character of the Noosa region is able to
be maintained by the development.
