practice and any other relevant information by participating in:

In addition to the above, relevant compliance information is kept in the sites office and can also be found on
Shadforth intranet page or via relevant websites such as:

tender. The tender process is set out in Shadforth Tender Procedure IMS-02-16.
At the tender stage, potential hazards and risks associated with the project are recorded on Shadforth Contract
Brief Form IMS-05-06. If a buildability design hazard or hazards are identified the tender team submit;
▪ A tender clarification email to the client regarding the hazard; and or
▪ A request to exclude the item with the hazard from the tender. The requests are submitted on the basis that
more consideration needs giving to the potential hazard and risk mitigation strategies
Once awarded, the project is set up as per Shadforth Project Setup Procedure IMS-02-13. All design related
compliance requirements are discussed prior to construction by the tender and project management team at
the construction pre-commencement meeting. Details regarding buildability design hazards are considered and
if required a risk assessment conducted by the project management team to consider ways of minimising or
eliminating the hazards. Buildability hazards and risk control requirements are documented in the project risk
register in line with section 13 of this plan.
Changes to design during construction are initiated by the client or consulting engineer and details passed on
to the project management team. Hazards associated with the design changes are managed in line with section
