4. SUBJECT SITE & SURROUNDS 4.1 Site Details The Telecommunications Facility is to be located on land described as Lot 47 on RP136461, situated at 23 Jirrima Crescent, Cooroibah. The topography of the subject site is relatively flat with ground levels ranging from 6 m AHD at its lowest point along the southern boundary to 9 m AHD at the highest point near to the eastern boundary. The ground level of the proposed facility location is approximately 7 m AHD. The Local Government Authority for the proposal is Noosa Council and the site is zoned as ‘Rural Settlement’ under The Noosa Plan. Figure 4 illustrates the location of the site and the proposed facility (indicated by the green point). Additionally, a Type 2 (Moderate) watercourse also extends through the centre of the site. Figure 5 illustrates an aerial view of the site location. Page 18
