The location of the access is illustrated within the attached drawings within Appendix A – Proposal Plans. Figure 6 shows the proposed location of the facility within the subject site. Figure 6: Location of proposed facility (arrowed) looking south west on the subject property 4.2 Site Surrounds The immediate area surrounding the site is characterised by rural residential properties and corridors of mature vegetation. Smaller properties containing dwellings and businesses are concentrated within the Cooroibah township situated to the west of the subject site. The subject site is bordered by Jirrima Crescent to the east, rural residential properties to the north and south and reserve land to the west. The reserve to the west of the facility will form a significant vegetation buffer to the higher density residential properties located west of the proposed facility location. The closest neighbouring dwelling is situated approximately 220 m to the north-east of the proposed facility. Figure 7 illustrates an aerial view of the characteristics of the surrounding area.
