based on its building class. Section D4D6 of the BCA states the following for each building
class:
 Shopping Centre (Class 6): 1 PWD space for every 50 car parking spaces or part
thereof (for up to 1,000 parking spaces).
 Commercial (Class 5): 1 space for every 100 car parking spaces or part thereof.
 Short-term accommodation (Class 1b): No specific requirement.
 Multi-unit residential (Class 2): No specific requirement.
Reflective of the above, the following PWD parking provisions are required for the proposed
development:
Lot 3:
According to the proportionate GFA of shopping centre and commercial land uses, PWD
spaces should be provided as follows:
 Shopping Centre (inclusive of Bar, Dining, Leisure, Cinema, Arts and Innovation) =
         13,765 / (13,765 + 3,000) = 82%
     Commercial = 3,000 / (14,815 + 3,000) = 18%
According to the BCA, the Lot 3 should provide:
     Shopping Centre = 636 x 1 / 50 x 82% = 11
     Commercial = 636 x 1 / 100 x 18% = 2
 Total PWD spaces required for Lot 3 = 13
The development proposes 13 PWD parking spaces on Lot 3 which is considered compliant
to BCA requirements.
Lot 7:
According to the BCA, Lot 7 should provide:
     Shop = (86-36) x 1 / 50 = 1
 Total PWD spaces required for Lot 7 = 1 space.
The development proposes 1 PWD parking space on Lot 7 which is considered compliant to
BCA requirements.
