6.0        Servicing Considerations
6.1        Statutory Requirements
Servicing provision for the subject development is not specified within NSC’s Noosa Plan
2020. Thus, AS2890.2: Off-street Commercial Vehicle Facilities has been referred to.
Section 3.3 of this report describes the provision of loading bays and the service vehicles
these loading areas are designed to accommodate. In summary, the development will provide:
Lot 3:
        Northern loading dock: Designed to accommodate MRVs.
        Southern loading dock: Designed to accommodate 20m AVs for servicing the major
         retail tenancy.
Lot 7:
        Northern loading / refuse area: Designed to accommodate RCVs and MRVs.
A swept path assessment demonstrating compliance with AS2890.2 has been undertaken and
is provided at Appendix C for reference.
