To ensure the fire break trail remains available and functional, it is recommended the fire break
trail satisfies the SPP Bushfire 2019 Assessment Benchmark 4 Table 4 Fire trail specifications
identified in Plate 12. Note, minor concessions to the width specifications are deemed
acceptable over short distances to prevent impact to sensitive riparian vegetation and aquatic
habitat about creek crossings.

Width Contains a width of at st 20 metres including

1. A trafficable area (cleared and formed)
a with a minimum width of 4 metres that can accommodate a rural firefighting vehicle
b. with no less than 4.8 metres vertical clearance from canopy vegetation
Cc. with no adjacent inhibiting embankments or retaining walls

2. Aworking area each side of the trafficable area
a with a minimum width of 3 metres each side
b. cleared of all flammable vegetation greater than 0.1 metre in height

The fire break trail is to be maintained for the life of the development. The fire break trail is to
be inspected and any fallout debris removed accordingly prior to each wedding event.

Development in bushfire prone areas should be serviced by safe access/exit points for both
